  • Designer of a pico scale solar solution utilizing a technology-controlled microfinance model to provide energy to underdeveloped parts of the world

  • Direct consultation to the Minister of Tourism of the United Arab Emirates for development of a solar initiative in the hospitality industry

Management

John ‘Tag’ Taylor

CFO

Tag is one of the founders of Photogenesis Energy and has 20 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant. He has maintained a presence at the top of mid-market corporate clientele. Tag’s areas of concentration include tax, consulting, M&A, wealth management and litigation support. Tag holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, Accounting from Kennesaw University in Atlanta and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant with the State Board of Accountancy in Kentucky. Tag has founded, operated and sold several businesses throughout his career, including technology consulting firms and business advisory firms. His experience with high net-worth individuals, M&A and tax strategies is an integral part of our operations

Scott Cote

COO

Scott’s 32 years of experience in the automotive industry have provided him with a wide variety of industry knowledge regarding business to business sales and marketing. As General Manager at Ferrari of Los

Gatos and Sales Manager at Ferraris’ only factory-owned store, Ferrari of San Francisco, Scott managed sales, marketing, hiring and service. Scott’s expertise and ability to transition businesses from bankruptcy to profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction in addition to his skills in business development make a perfect fit at Photogenesis. Most recently,Scott managed and implemented all aspects of providing EV vehicles to various municipalities.

David Burt

CPO

David studied at the University of Kentucky before delving into utility auditing, which lead him to the renewable energy sector. David’s first renewable energy project was his own 2-megawatt solar plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is one of the original founders of Photogenesis Energy and is in charge of our U.S. based operations, project management, construction, product procurement, pricing, contracts and delivery. He has direct experience in the field in procurement and installation, and those skills allow Photogenesis to determine system feasibility quickly and efficiently.

Drew Doblar

CTO

Drew is an expert in electronics design & packaging and holds 49 U.S. patents. His creative solutions across many design disciplines lead to optimal products and business solutions. Drew has worked to bring small scale solar and renewable energy applications and supplies to underdeveloped communities where lives can be changed simply by having the ability to turn on a light at night or to charge a mobile phone. Drew holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
